Alison is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. Alison graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and earned a master’s degree in Applied Cognitive Science and Human Factors at Michigan Technological University. Alison’s interests include ACL injury prevention strategies, coaching education, and performance enhancement for strength and power athletes. Prior to Centura Health, Alison spent five years at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics where she worked with a variety of athletes including the professional soccer team in Madison. Alison also spent 5 years in the collegiate setting working as an Assistant and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for all varsity sports.
